CPA study schedule

A realistic CPA exam study schedule for busy candidates.

The best schedule is not the most aggressive one. It is the one you can repeat when work gets busy, motivation drops, and life refuses to be quiet.

If you have 6–8 weeks

Use this for a retake or for a section where you already have background knowledge. Study five or six days per week and move into cumulative review quickly.

If you have 10–12 weeks

This is more realistic for many working candidates. It gives you space to learn, practice, and revisit weak topics without turning every night into panic.

If you work full time

Put the hardest study block where your brain is least drained. Use lunch or short evening blocks for review, not brand-new complex topics.

How to know it is working

Do not judge by hours alone. A useful schedule should increase accuracy, reduce repeated mistakes, and make weak topics more specific.
